General Notes

From 1928 unril the onset of war, Harry Rutherford's brother Bob ran concert parties at the Pavillion at Gorleston-on-Sea, Norfolk - the Gorleston Gossips. Harry ws taken on as a scenery painter and this work led to the painting of "Great Yarmouth" over two weeks in 1932.
