General Notes
Hand written story on reverse:
"We haven't any Eggs", said Grandpa " Will you go to Bettys cottage for some ", so Aunt Frances gathered up the basket and we all set off across the fields - it was a beautiful evening with the golden mists of autumn.
Mother said, rather sadley - " Shall we miss this lovely place - next week we shall all be back home in Lees ". "Nevermind" said Aunt Mary. "It will be nice to see our old friends again and next week on friday afternoon, we'll all go to Oldham Market and buy some muffins for tea", and the year was 1907.
