General Notes

Hand written story on the reverse reads:

Going home along Spring Lane we stopped to speak to Willie and Annie Murgatroyd, Grandmas said that the pair of them had been up to something. They said they'd seen Biddy Murphy's Tiger! which quite frightened George and I, and Grandma said they shouldn't tell stories. However when Mother, the Aunts, Mrs Maitland and Emily discovered that Aunt Charlotte was a long way ahead talking to the new curate who was called Albert they said " Dear me I wonder if theres anything in it" and Miss Carter (who wore Pink) held out her hand to Mr Taylor ( The Bank Manager) quite forgetting everyone else, and the the year was 1906.
