Sarah Bowman was born into an artistic family in 1975. Her father Michael and sister Vanessa are painters and her mother a framer. Sarah studied at Wimbledon and Falmouth, then spent several years living in Edinburgh.
She now owns White Space with husband, Jolyon. Since returning to the south-west, the coast and unique scenery here have greatly influenced her recent window series. She has had solo and mixed exhibitions throughout the UK and in 2005 she won the Mary Fedden award at the Royal West of England Academy Open Exhibition.
