"Parish Church and Old Market"

The Church is St Marys Stockport - the market is the
old cast iron structure that over the last 150 years seems to
go hand in had with the Parish Church - one is lost without the
other. At this moment it is being decided whether or not to replace the
market hall with the usual glass and concrete which are todays
thinking. Heres one person who is wishing that the planners leave this
gem of northern England alone - the news of this caused me to want
to record the scence as it is today and what a pleasure it was to
work on this subject.
