General Notes

The original owner of this work, Mr John Roy Bleakley became headmaster of this small school on Patricroft close to Eccles in the late 1950s. He emplotyed a young Harold Riley as a temporary teacher in the school in the early 1960s. When Harold left this job he gave Mr Bleakley this picture of the school. We acquired it from his son.
