On our way home from a walk,
George and I saw some children dancing
and singing round a tree which stood
in a field. The held Daisy chains
and sang " Here we come gathering
nuts in May", George thought it sill but
I would have loved to dance with them.
Howeve,r we heard alot of noise and
there was Grandma and Aunt Mary with
some geese hissing at them and Aunt
Mary telling them to go away. When
Mr Taylor ( The Bank Manager ) whow was walking
with Miss Carter ( who wore Pink ) heard the
noise he hurried to Aunt Mary's aid
and helped the farmers wife to get them
safely home, and it was a Beautiful
Summers Day at Blackpool in the year 1907
